Job summary

F6 is seeking experienced HVAC technicians to support startup and commissioning of mission-critical cooling systems for hyperscale data center infrastructure across the United States. You will lead hands-on troubleshooting, system startup, and field leadership for teams of 4–10 technicians, ensuring safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial or mission-critical HVAC, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and experience reading drawings and schematics.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with commercial or mission-critical HVAC systems.
• Strong troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, piping diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, or startup environments.
• Leadership experience guiding technicians or field crews.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation for local travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on troubleshooting, system startup, and bringing complex cooling systems online.
• Lead and coordinate startup activities for data center cooling projects.
• Diagnose and resolve hydronic, glycol, and air handling system issues.
• Maintain safety standards and mentor field technicians on site.
• Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and operations teams daily.
