Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking a Field Operations Manager for our data-center HVAC-focused field team. You will guide people strategies, performance management, and workforce planning to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient field execution across projects.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, technical credibility, and the ability to translate business needs into clear expectations for field technicians and Site Leads. Hybrid work and travel across sites are involved.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading technical field-service personnel in HVAC, mechanical systems, commissioning, data centers, or related environments.
• Proven ability to coach, evaluate, and manage employees and performance.
• Experience hiring, interviewing, and developing technicians and Site Leads.
• Strong understanding of field-service operations and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance and accountability of assigned field employees.
• Lead workforce planning, interviews, coaching plans, and performance reviews.
• Partner with HR on disciplinary actions and career development.
• Balance staffing and deployment to meet project requirements and profitability.
