Job summary

F6 Data Solutions is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead a hybrid team of field technicians and site leads, focused on HVAC, data centers, and critical infrastructure. The role combines people leadership with direct technical oversight to drive safety, quality, and customer outcomes.

You will hire, coach, and develop staff, set clear performance expectations, and partner with HR on disciplinary actions while balancing project needs and profitability across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading technical field-service personnel in HVAC, mechanical systems, commissioning, data centers, or similar environments.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and manage employee performance.
• Experience conducting technical and behavioral interviews and hiring decisions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Willingness to travel as required by field deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop field technicians and site leads to meet safety, quality and profitability targets.
• Partner with HR and leadership on performance management and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Plan staffing, deployment, and workforce planning for multiple concurrent projects.
• Coach Site Leads and technicians on leadership, safety, and performance.
• Ensure talent development and succession planning for critical roles.
