Job summary

Salute seeks an experienced Site Lead with HVAC qualifications to direct a team of multi-skilled operators in a data center setting. You will oversee preventive and corrective HVAC maintenance, lead troubleshooting, and coordinate seasonal operations while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You will communicate with clients and project leadership, manage work orders in CMMS, and ensure documentation accuracy. Strong leadership, technical HVAC expertise, and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HVAC maintenance, with leadership experience in a data-center or critical infrastructure setting.
• HVAC licensure or certification required.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for client and leadership engagement.
• Proficient in CMMS platforms, Excel, Word, and Outlook; able to read HVAC controls and reports.
• Safety-oriented with knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily HVAC maintenance activities, ensuring schedules, safety, and quality.
• Mentor and supervise technicians, enforce proper techniques and safety practices.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and seasonals like winterization and peak cooling prep.
• Maintain and document asset history, PM logs, and inventory in CMMS.
• Prepare and present weekly progress reports to site management.
• Serve as escalation point for HVAC emergencies and after-hours responses.
