Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager for their Indiana location. In this critical role, you will oversee the data center's infrastructure and lead a team of engineering technicians to ensure high operational performance. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical systems will be vital in driving reliability, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a supportive work environment.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience in mission-critical environments and will manage daily operations and improvement projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 5 or more direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
• 3+ years of administrative experience including Microsoft Office products.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data center operations.
• Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
