Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Data Center Facility Manager to lead hands-on electrical and mechanical operations in a critical data center environment.

You will own reliability, safety, and performance, guiding a 24x7 team across shifts and coordinating with vendors and contractors. The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems, and a track record of delivering improvements in mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial electrical or mechanical systems.
• 3+ years using Microsoft Office products.
• 5+ years in a managerial/supervisory role with 8-10 direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure and ensure work is high quality and impacts customers minimally.
• Ensure safety, security, availability, and performance while maintaining a positive customer experience across shifts.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers in all aspects of their careers.
• Lead improvement projects and coordinate with support teams to drive concepts to completion.
• Ensure staffing levels and growth with expansions are maintained.
• Be actively involved in ongoing construction activities.
• Coordinate daily with third-party vendors to meet contracted SLAs.
• Efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures.
