Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Facility Manager to lead and operate critical electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in our US data centers. You will ensure 99.999% uptime and manage costs while delivering reliable services to internal and external customers.

You will supervise 24x7 engineering technicians, drive improvement projects, coordinate with third-party vendors, and serve as after-hours on-call manager for the region.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management/team lead function experience.
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical physical infrastructure.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians in all facets of their career.
• Engage in improvement projects, often requiring reaching out to a variety of support teams, and drive them from conception to completion.
• Coordinates daily with a multitude of third party vendors ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Routinely operate as the afterhours on‑call Data Center Facility Manager for the data centers in the region.
