Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Facility Manager to lead the front-line operations of critical data center infrastructure, ensuring reliability, availability, and efficiency across electrical, mechanical, and building systems.

You will manage 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers, coordinate with third-party vendors, drive improvements, manage budgets, and ensure safe, compliant operations across multiple sites with no remote work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 5+ years of managerial/supervisory experience with 8-10 direct reports.
• 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center’s critical infrastructure.
• Ensure safety, security, availability, quality, and performance of the team.
• Manage teams of 24x7 engineering technicians and Facility Managers.
• Engage in improvement projects from conception to completion and drive them.
• Coordinate daily with third‑party vendors to meet SLAs.
• Effectively and efficiently manage the operations budget and expenditures.
• Respond to out‑of‑hours emergency calls.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive team culture.
