Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Jeffersonville, OH is seeking a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate and troubleshoot mission-critical facility equipment.

You will work on stand-by diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, CRAC, chillers, cooling water, and fire/life safety systems across AWS data centers. Shifts can be up to 12 hours and may rotate, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
• 1+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible schedule (days/nights/weekends).
• 2+ years of data center engineering experience.
• Technical (Military/Trade School) training.
• Associate or higher education in related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily building rounds to monitor electrical and mechanical systems.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS and assist in troubleshooting events.
• Install and decommission racks, manage PM and root-cause analysis.
• Provide on-site support to contractors and coordinate with vendors.
• Write technical documentation for change management.
