Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. seeks a Data Center Engineering Technician to maintain, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical data center facility equipment, including standby diesel generators, 3-phase electrical systems, and cooling systems.

You will help ensure 99.999% uptime across AWS data centers and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. The role involves on-site work at various data center locations, travel between sites as needed, and potential relocation

Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance, or 2+ years of electrical facilities maintenance and 1+ years of mechanical facilities maintenance experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds to monitor electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor BMS and EPMS systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events within SLAs.
• Install and decommission racks per SLA.
• Execute PM, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Prepare technical documentation to support change management.
