Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Data Center Engineering Operations Cluster Manager to lead electrical, mechanical, and facility teams in a single AWS Region. Drive safety, availability, and reliability, maintaining uptime better than 99.9999% while optimizing operating costs.

You will mentor 24x7 engineering technicians, oversee construction activities, manage budgets, and coordinate with third-party vendors to meet SLAs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience.
• 4+ years of contractor and vendor management in construction and project execution.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in data center operations.
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the data center's critical infrastructure.
• Manage the performance of 24x7 engineering technicians and facility managers.
• Engage in improvement projects and drive them from conception to completion.
• Ensure staffing is maintained and grow with expansions.
• Coordinate daily with third party vendors to meet SLAs.
• Effectively manage the operations budget and expenditures.
