Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Cluster Operations Leader to guide the infrastructure operations across AWS data centers and colocation sites. You will manage senior teams and oversee safety, security, availability, scaling, and cost efficiency while driving operational excellence.

The role requires deep technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and compute systems, plus strong process optimization and leadership skills to scale AWS global infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience in data center operations or similar environments.
• Proven ability to hire, develop and manage high-performing distributed technical teams.
• Track record delivering complex analytical and quantitative projects.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, and develop the operations team, including managers and their teams.
• Achieve performance goals for safety, security, availability, scaling, efficiency, and cost.
• Plan and execute infrastructure operations for new data centers and colocation expansions.
• Operate and maintain mechanical, electrical, and controls systems in data centers, including maintenance and change management.
• Manage data center service providers to meet SLAs.
• Lead safety, security, and availability incident response and resolution.
• Improve operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools continuously.
