Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to contribute to data center and mission-critical facilities design and construction. This location-flexible role enables work across U.S. projects, with close collaboration with clients and on-site teams.

You will design power distribution, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low-voltage communications, and may retrofit existing building systems to meet evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems and campus-style power distribution.

Responsibilities

• Design data center facility power distribution, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting and low-voltage communications.
• Perform design reviews and contribute to project technical collaboration.
• Interact with client, owner and contractors to assist on-site construction.
• Manage quality, scope, budget and schedule of projects.
