Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and engineering of data centers and other mission-critical facilities. This position offers location flexibility across the U.S. and focuses on power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, and quality management.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and has over 6 years of experience in facility design, including a Professional Engineer license. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in engineering design of distribution systems.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design of data centers and mission-critical facilities.
• Provide design work and perform quality reviews of design packages.
• Manage quality, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.

Skills

Engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
