Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group. This position supports design and engineering for data center facilities, power distribution, UPS systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications in complex industrial settings. The role involves collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and direct client interaction.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in electrical engineering, 3+ years of design experience, and a PE license is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years' experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems and campus-style power distribution.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software.
• NFPA 70 (NEC) knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and design data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications.
• Assist retrofit projects to meet evolving client requirements.
• Coordinate with client, owner, and contractors; contribute to design packages and conduct quality reviews.
• Support project management of scope, budgets, and schedules.
