Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to support power distribution, UPS, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications for data centers and mission-critical facilities. This role is location-flexible across the United States and may involve client interaction on site as needed.

You will contribute to design packages, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and help ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 6 year experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, building electrical systems, and campus-style power distribution including conveyance.
• Extensive knowledge of and experience with industrial facility design
• Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software
• Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Engineering and design for data center facility power distribution systems, UPS, emergency systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications.
• Interact with clients, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.
• Manage quality, scope, budget and schedule for electrical design projects.
