Job summary

Jacobs seeks an Electrical Engineer in our Advanced Manufacturing group to contribute to data center facilities engineering, design and construction. This role is location flexible in the U.S.

and supported by a hybrid work policy, with opportunities to collaborate across offices, projects and client sites. You will design power distribution systems, UPS, grounding and low voltage communications, perform quality reviews, interact with clients and contractors, and help manage scope, budget and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline required.
• 3+ years' experience in engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems, campus-style power distribution.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• Experience with Revit or BIM software.
• NFPA 70 (NEC) knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design data center power distribution systems, UPS, grounding, lighting and low voltage communications.
• Perform quality reviews of design packages.
• Collaborate with client, owner and contractors during construction.
• Manage quality, scope, budget and schedule where applicable.
