Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Electrical Construction Technical Services Specialist to support world-class data center projects in Corpus Christi, TX.

The role involves interpreting drawings and specifications, liaising with engineering teams, and providing on-site technical support in the field. You will engage in permitting processes, manage document revision control, and mentor team members while coordinating with home office and contractors to ensure design changes are properly

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in electrical engineering or 8–10 years in construction management of heavy-industrial facilities including datacenters
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent; include certified technical training
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction purposes
• Effective oral and written communication

Responsibilities

• Resolve in-progress issues related to technical interpretation of drawings and specifications
• Liaise with home office engineering, outside engineering firms, and client representatives
• Provide on-site technical support interpreting released documents, specifications and drawings
• Engage in the permitting process with AHJs
• Work with Design-Build contractors in the field
• Ensure revision control for all construction documents
• Manage timely information related to potential changes in design and installation
• Mentor subordinate team members
