Job summary

Jacobs in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking an Electrical Construction Technical Services Lead for world-class data center projects. You will liaise with home office engineering, external firms, and client reps while guiding on-site technical interpretation of documents and drawings.

You’ll lead permitting, coordinate with DB contractors, and drive construction document control and NCR resolutions, mentoring the team to meet project goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in electrical engineering or 15–20 years in construction management for heavy-industrial facilities.
Familiar with construction means, methods, codes and standards.
Experience interpreting home office engineering docs for construction.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with home office engineering, external firms and client reps.
Provide on-site technical support interpreting engineered docs and drawings.
Engage in permitting with AHJs and field designs with DB contractors.
Lead document control and ensure revision-controlled drawings and specs.
Resolve NCRs with field quality, contractor and home office engineering.
Mentor and guide the project team toward objective outcomes.
