Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Technical Services Lead for a Corpus Christi, TX data center project. You will provide leadership on technical interpretation of drawings and specs, coordinate with home office engineering and external firms, and support on-site construction activities.

This role requires strong communication, 10+ years in electrical engineering or 15–20 years in heavy-industrial construction, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in electrical engineering or 15–20 years in heavy-industrial construction.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
• Experience interpreting home office engineering documents for construction.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead interpretation of drawings and specs and coordinate with home office response.
• Provide on-site technical support and document control.
• Engage in permitting processes with AHJs.
• Collaborate with Design-Build contractors as field moves.
• Mentor and guide the project team.
