Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer to lead the design documentation and BIM model management using Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. You’ll coordinate with discipline leads and team members to deliver fully coordinated 3D models across C,S,A,M,E,P,T,I,L disciplines and produce 2D drawings.

You’ll contribute to projects in the Data Center market, aligning with Jacobs standards, with a hybrid work policy that blends office and remote locations across the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of BIM design experience.
• At least 3 years of electrical systems design experience.
• Growing understanding of codes and standards shaping design decisions.
• Familiarity with client design and modeling standards.

Responsibilities

• Design documentation and management of Revit BIM models.
• Coordinate with discipline BIM leads and team members.
• Create and manage content for fully coordinated 3D models across disciplines.
• Produce 2D construction drawings based on design models.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to ensure constructable deliverables.
