Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Electrical BIM Designer for DC Design Engineering. You will design electrical systems for data centers and develop BIM models using Revit, supporting the central engineering team across multiple projects.

You will lead detailed documentation, participate in coordination meetings, and travel to data centers for evaluations as required, ensuring compliance with NEC and safety standards while delivering high-quality, efficient designs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities.
• 4+ years of commissioning experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience using Revit for producing BIM models and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of NEC and safety regulations.
• Experience with power distribution and single-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for Data Centers and create/maintain BIM models in Revit.
• Develop construction documentation for electrical building systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
• Update models and documents with engineering group coordination.
• Participate in design coordination meetings for clash detection and resolution.
• Travel to Data Center sites for evaluations and surveys as needed.
