Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Seattle is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer with a passion for BIM to design electrical systems for AWS Data Center facilities.

You will create and maintain BIM models in Revit, develop construction documents, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet project milestones. The role involves coordinating with the Central Engineering Team, performing electrical analyses, and delivering permit-ready drawings for a fleet of data centers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
• 4+ years of commissioning experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience in commissioning
• 4+ years’ experience using Revit for producing Electrical engineering BIM models and construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems of Data Centers using Revit to create and maintain BIM models.
• Work within a team environment and with external suppliers and consultants.
• Prepare and publish construction documentation for electrical building systems.
• Develop and publish BIM templates and support design coordination meetings.
• Travel to Data Center sites for engineering evaluations and surveys as required.
