Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical & Plumbing BIM Designer to join our AWS Data Center team. The role focuses on designing MEP systems, creating BIM models with Revit, and producing construction documentation for high‑demand data center facilities.

You will collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to ensure energy efficiency, safety, and reliability while supporting multiple projects across locations. Occasional site visits are expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years using Revit for MEP BIM models and drawings.
• 5+ years MEP design/engineering for data centers.
• Knowledge of IPC/UPC codes and safety regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with Lean principles in design.

Responsibilities

• Design Mechanical & Plumbing systems of Data Centers using Revit.
• Develop and publish construction documentation for MEP systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants.
• Update models and docs as required.
• Assist with BIM templates and clash coordination.
• Work on multiple projects across locations.
• Travel to Data Center sites 1–2 times per year.
