Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a BIM Designer to join the Central Engineering Team. You will design electrical, telecom, and security systems for AWS data centers, producing BIM models and construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

This role requires collaboration across internal groups and external vendors to maintain AWS standards. You will work on multiple projects across locations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery while advancing BIM templates and staying current

Qualifications

3+ years of design/engineering experience producing construction drawings for mission critical facilities.
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD in data center or similar environments.
Knowledge of electrical, telecom and security systems for critical facilities.

Responsibilities

Design the electrical, telecom, and security systems of data centers using Revit to create and maintain BIM models.
Develop and publish construction documentation for building systems in a fast-paced setting.
Review consultant models and ensure information models meet AWS standards and EIR requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver tasks on schedule.
Record and report key metrics to management and support BIM template development.
