Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a BIM Designer to join the MEP BIM team for designing challenging data center projects with innovative solutions. You will prepare electrical, telecom, and security BIM models and supporting documents for AWS data centers.

You will collaborate with Central Engineering and other disciplines to publish permit drawings, maintain BIM templates, and ensure models meet AWS standards and EIR requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience building detailed Revit models for electrical, telecom, and security systems.
• Ability to publish construction documentation from BIM data.
• Familiarity with EIR and AWS standards for information models.

Responsibilities

• Be self-motivated within the MEP group and other teams.
• Develop detailed Revit models for Electrical, Telecom, and Security systems.
• Publish construction documentation meeting schedules.
• Create and maintain BIM templates and enforce standards.
• Review Security and ICT models for EIR compliance.
• Coordinate projects across multiple locations.
• Assist information exchange with internal and external stakeholders.
• Record and report key metrics to management.
• Provide creative, out-of-the-box solutions.
