Job summary

Jacobs is hiring an Electrical BIM Designer to lead Revit model setup and management for electrical systems. You will create coordinated 3D models and 2D drawings, working with engineers and architects to meet Jacobs standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of BIM experience, Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks proficiency, and strong collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role supports onsite and remote work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• 3+ years BIM design experience in electrical systems.
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Understanding of codes and standards in design decisions.
• Ability to estimate design/modeling hours.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage Revit BIM models for electrical systems.
• Produce 2D construction drawings and ensure coordination across disciplines.
• Collaborate with discipline leads, architects and engineers.
• Create clash-free 3D models and maintain BIM standards.
• Assist senior staff to translate design intent into deliverables.
