Job summary

Anthropic is hiring an EHS Manager, Data Center Construction and Operations to own environment, health, and safety across the full lifecycle of data center sites—from construction through live operations. You will set safety expectations with contractors, oversee high‑hazard activities, and lead safety programs across multiple sites.

You’ll partner with the EHS Lead and work with construction, infrastructure, operations, security, and legal teams to ensure rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of EHS experience in construction, mission-critical, or data center projects.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA construction (29 CFR 1926) and general industry (29 CFR 1910) standards.
• Experience with electrical safety, NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, and arc flash.
• Proven ability to lead contractor safety programs across multi‑employer worksites.

Responsibilities

• Build and run EHS programs for construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Prequalification, safety plan review, high‑hazard work permitting, and safety audits.
• Oversee contractor safety performance and hold parties accountable for safe work practices.
• Investigate incidents, drive root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
