Job summary

NScale's Site EHS Lead, Data Center Operations, is the on-the-ground safety SME for our data center operations, partnering with Ops, construction, and engineering to keep facilities safe, compliant, and reliable 24/7/365.

You will lead hazard identification, incident investigation, and safety training, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and readiness for high‑risk activities in a demanding, high‑voltage environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of EHS experience in data centers.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1910 and NFPA 70E.
• Experience implementing electrical safety programs in HV environments.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with EHS management systems (VelocityEHS or similar).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the EHS SME for site Operations, providing safety guidance.
• Administer Permit-to-Work and related high-risk processes.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety trainings, inductions, and toolbox talks.
• Coordinate safety qualifications and contractor oversight.
