Job summary

Meta is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to join our Data Center Facility Operations team. The role focuses on developing and executing EHS programs across data center sites, ensuring safety for employees and partners while maintaining compliance with EHS standards.

The candidate will work with the global EHS team and local site management, leading incident investigations, implementing risk controls, and integrating AI tools to optimize workflows in a mission-critical

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the Environmental, Health and Safety field
• Bachelor's degree in safety or health sciences or related discipline
• Experience in EHS program management and execution
• Experience in leading or managing incident investigation and mitigation
• Experience adhering to responsible AI practices (risk assessment, bias mitigation)
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and regulatory/environmental permitting processes
• BCSP or equivalent certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate EHS programs with global teams and site management
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards at data center facilities
• Drive AI tools to optimize workflows while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions
• Implement and monitor AI ethics practices within EHS processes
