Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Program Manager to lead design, pre-construction and construction on data center projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Operations, with onsite presence 50‑75% of the time during the project.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, schedules, master development programs, entitlements, and vendor negotiations while communicating updates to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel for executive updates and budgets.
• Onsite to monitor project progress 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, pre-construction and construction activities on each project.
• Manage budgets, schedules and status reports for multiple campuses.
• Develop master development program for site(s) including campus design and capex budget.
• Manage entitlements and permitting needs for each project.
• Coordinate with procurement and evaluate pricing proposals.
