Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities across projects. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, and Data Center Operations daily to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering, 5+ years of construction experience, and strong MS Office skills to prepare executive updates and budgets. Up to 25% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five+ years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with MS Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Be able to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create monthly updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Develop master development program for site(s) including campus design and capital budget.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Develop site master plans and review cost estimates with stakeholders.
