Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Project Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities across campus projects. You will coordinate withFacilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers and Vendors to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in commercial construction, with strong MS Office and budgeting skills. Travel to sites will be required as needed to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction project delivery.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel for updates and budgets.
• Ability to travel as needed for the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on projects across campuses.
• Maintain updated budgets, schedules and status reports for each project.
• Develop master development programs for sites with budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers and vendors.
• Prepare scopes of work and participate in procurement and cost estimates.
• Review monthly pay applications and change orders from contractors.
