Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Development Program Manager (Data Center Construction) to lead design, pre-construction and construction activities on assigned projects. You will interact daily with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors, and Data Center Operations staff.

You will manage timelines, budgets, and status reports, and collaborate with Sales Engineers and Product teams to align on campus development plans and capital budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Eight or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates, and Excel for budgets.
• Be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus(es) and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports for each.
• Create and communicate updates on development program & project status on a monthly basis for executive reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to create a master development program for site(s) including campus design solutions and budgets.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each assigned site project(s).
• Implement and manage multi-phased site development plans to achieve time, budget, and quality standards.
