Job summary

QTS Data Centers in the United States seeks a Development Project Manager to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on data center campuses. You will collaborate daily with facilities, contractors, designers, engineers, commissioning agents, vendors, and data center operations staff to drive programs in line with schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• Five or more years of professional experience in commercial construction practices and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically PowerPoint for executive updates and Excel for budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects on a campus and maintain updated budgets, schedules, and status reports.
• Create and communicate updates on development program and project status for executive reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to create a master development program and capital budget for sites.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs for each site project.
• Implement multi-phased site development plans to meet time, budget, and quality targets.
• Review monthly pay applications and change order requests from contractors.
• Establish site construction security procedures with the security team.
• Develop plans for product deployment and coordinate with staff involved.
