Job summary

QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Development Project Manager (MEP/Cx Data Center Construction) to lead design, preconstruction and construction activities on assigned data center campuses. You will coordinate with Facilities, Contractors, Designers, Engineers, Commissioning Agents, Vendors and Data Center Operations staff to maintain budgets, schedules and progress updates for executive reviews.

Responsibilities include creating master development programs, managing entitlement and permitting,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in commercial construction and project delivery (Lump Sum, CM@Risk, Design Build).
• Proficient with MS Office; able to create executive updates and budgets.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple data center construction projects with budgets, schedules, and status reporting.
• Develop and communicate master development programs for campuses.
• Manage entitlement and permitting needs and develop phased site plans.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, procurement, cost estimates and pay applications.
• Maintain campus master plans and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
