Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a DC Deployment Team Lead to provide onsite leadership for deployment teams executing complex data center and network infrastructure projects. You will direct daily activities, assign work, track status, remove obstacles, and ensure deployments are completed safely and on time with quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in data center deployments and 3+ years leading field teams, with a valid U.S. drivers license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in data center deployments, structured cabling, telecommunications, low-voltage systems, infrastructure installations, hardware deployment, or related technical environments.
• 3+ years of experience leading field teams, installation crews, or deployment technicians.
• Valid U.S. drivers license.
• Proven experience managing onsite teams and coordinating activities across multiple workstreams.
• Experience tracking project status, schedules, deliverables, risks, and escalations.
• Ability to manage relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize competing priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team-development capabilities.
• Experience driving successful project outcomes in fast-paced environments with aggressive timelines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while leading large cross-functional teams.
• Experience documenting deployment activities, validating implementation success, and maintaining project records.
• Proven ability to identify issues, remove barriers, and drive projects to successful completion.
• Familiarity with high-growth, large-scale deployment environments and complex infrastructure implementations.
