Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Project Manager to oversee structured cabling, low-voltage, and data center projects from planning through completion. This role requires strong coordination with field teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery within scope.

Ideal candidates have experience in commercial construction, telecom, or data centers, OSHA 30, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience managing commercial construction, low-voltage, or data center projects.
• Knowledge of structured cabling systems, rack infrastructure, and installation best practices.
• Experience coordinating field teams and subcontractors.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage structured cabling, low-voltage, and data center infrastructure projects
• Partner with Field Supervisors to review project progress, documentation, and deliverables
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and resources
• Monitor project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
• Communicate with customers, field teams, and leadership to ensure project success
• Support large-scale cabling, rack infrastructure, and technology deployments
• Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep projects on track
• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documentation
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Support and mentor field personnel while promoting a positive team environment
