IES Communications is seeking a Project Lead – Data Center Services to supervise on-site data center activities and coordinate MACs, equipment installation and daily operations. The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and industry-standard practices for efficient data center management.

The position requires 3–5 years in data centers, strong collaboration with a team, and the ability to manage schedules, installations and audits on-site.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years working in data centers relative to the datacom/telecom industry, operations and administration or related technical field.
• Any network, storage or server certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directly support and coordinate scheduled DC MACs per DCIT calendar.
• Install and test cable work orders, assist with BOM and scope documents.
• Asset auditing, device labeling, power connectivity and LV cabling.
• Provide smart-hands assistance and maintain safe DC environment.
• Document asset installation layouts and cabling standards; maintain HDD bin and logs.
