Job summary

Turner & Townsend seeks an Associate Director - Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on a major data center program. This client-facing leadership role requires exceptional communication and the ability to influence stakeholders across the project lifecycle.

The position supports a Cheyenne, WY project site with a regular onsite presence of 3-4 days per week. Strong experience in budgeting, EVM, procurement and value engineering is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field required.
• 8–10+ years in cost management or project controls on large-scale projects (data centers preferred).
• Strong client-facing delivery and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, EVM and procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management for hyperscale data center programs and related projects.
• Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, estimates and forecasts.
• Manage change control and review of change orders; track variances.
• Present monthly cost reports and executive summaries to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with scheduling teams to align cost forecasts with timelines.
