Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor for a major data center program. The role requires regular on-site presence in Cheyenne, WY, with a commute from Fort Collins, CO area.

You will lead cost planning, reporting and procurement, while mentoring staff and driving value engineering to optimize project costs. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in cost management on complex construction projects, familiarity with MEP and complex delivery, and strong

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
5–7+ years of cost management or quantity surveying on medium to large construction projects.
Experience on mission‑critical/data center projects preferred.
RICS CCP or progress toward certification is advantageous.
Strong budgeting, reporting, forecasting and cost control experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed cost plans and estimates through design and delivery phases.
Produce monthly cost reports and executive summaries for stakeholders.
Coordinate all sources of cost information for validation and auditing.
Lead procurement strategy and pricing reviews with contractors/subcontractors.
Manage final accounts and change control throughout the lifecycle.
Support cost risk analysis, contingency planning, and earned value where applicable.
Mentor junior team members and ensure governance and compliance with CMS.
