Job summary

Jabil Inc. is seeking a Principal Mechanical Integration Engineer (Data Center Infrastructure) to lead the architecture, integration, and validation of advanced liquid-cooled data center systems.

You will define performance requirements, select components, and guide design from concept through production, ensuring manufacturability and regulatory compliance. The role requires deep expertise in single- and two-phase liquid cooling, wetted materials, and CAD data packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• 8 years’ experience in mechanical design and integration of mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with Energy Storage Systems and Data Center Infrastructure standards is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mechanical design of hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure systems.
• Act as authority for liquid cooling architectures within hyperscale environments.
• Define and validate performance requirements for liquid-cooled infrastructure.
• Design, analyze, and validate components and structures using FEA and flow modeling.
• Develop CAD models and data packages using CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalents.
• Establish validation protocols including hydrostatic testing and leak detection.
• Lead cross-functional design reviews for full system integration.
• Optimize rack manifold design and manufacturing processes.
