Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking someone to maintain and optimize BMS and EPMS across data centers. You will troubleshoot, upgrade controls, and implement new processes for reliability and efficiency in AWS's critical infrastructure.

The role involves mentoring facilities staff, managing projects, and ensuring proper provisioning of servers, controllers, and sensors while collaborating with engineers and technicians in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required.
• Basic understanding of Industrial controls systems and related meters, devices, sensors, relays, and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and varying shifts.
• Degree with 1 year of controls/HVAC experience, or 2 years in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS in multiple data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team on operation and control of BMS/EPMS.
• Audit, maintain, and manage asset systems for BMS/EPMS.
• Manage small to medium projects and programs.
• Perform point-to-point checks between field devices and controllers.
• Troubleshoot and maintain BMS/EPMS programming and hardware.
• Provision servers, controllers, industrial PCs, and network configs; test communications with third-party devices.
• Install, replace, configure, and calibrate sensors.
• Read electrical schematics and control drawings; understand closed-loop controls.
• Supervise low-voltage electrical contractors per AWS requirements.
• Provide commissioning and systems-level testing support.
