Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to troubleshoot, design, implement and optimize BMS and EPMS systems across AWS data centers.

You will lead calibration, testing and lifecycle support, collaborating with diverse teams to maintain uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced cloud infrastructure environment. You will develop control logic, programming and GUI updates, manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, and contribute to the continuous improvement of controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant controls experience or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of experience with industrial controls in critical environments (data centers, pharma, manufacturing, oil & gas, etc.).
• 4+ years of project or vendor management experience in construction and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis or corrective action for BMS and EPMS in AWS data centers.
• Train and assist internal customers with BMS/EPMS design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning and operation.
• Provide technical assistance and support to operations throughout the data center life cycle.
• Review quarterly maintenance results for BMS/EPMS and drive resolutions.
• Develop scope, schedule, budget and LOE for BMS/EPMS projects requested by customers and stakeholders.
