Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced controls professional to support AWS data centers. You will maintain BMS and EPMS systems, troubleshoot, and develop processes to improve reliability and efficiency in critical facilities.

The role involves deploying and upgrading control systems across multiple sites, mentoring staff, and coordinating with field teams. You will work with high-availability infrastructure, read electrical drawings, and verify sensor calibration while ensuring

Qualifications

• 3+ years of motor controls (motor starts, VFDs, DC drives) experience, or Bachelor's degree
• Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field with 1+ years experience, OR 3+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of Industrial controls systems, meters, sensors, relays and troubleshooting tools in relevant industries.
• 1+ years of experience with low voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, and related electrical/mechanical systems.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers.
• Mentor and train Facilities team on BMS/EPMS operation and control.
• Audit, maintain, and manage enterprise asset management systems for BMS/EPMS.
