Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to manage BMS and EPMS systems across AWS data centers. You will troubleshoot, optimize power management, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure reliable infrastructure operations.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/controls engineering, with experience in critical environments, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives while supporting on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, engineering technology or equivalent, or 5+ years of industrial controls experience.
• Minimum two years in controls or electrical construction project coordination with multiple teams or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis or Corrective Action for BMS and EPMS issues in AWS data centers.
• Train and assist internal customers and stakeholders with the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation and operation of BMS and EPMS systems.
• Provide technical assistance and support to operations during life cycle of the data center.
• Review results and action items from quarterly maintenances for BMS and EPMS and take actions to resolve.
• Develop BMS & EPMS project scopes, schedules, budgets, and LOE for customer requests.
