Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Center Controls Engineering team seeks an engineer to maintain BMS/EPMS systems in our global data centers. You will deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize control systems in mission-critical environments, collaborating with operators, engineers, and technicians.

You will lead small projects, perform diagnostics, and help develop new processes and standards while ensuring safety and reliability across facilities in the cloud.

Qualifications

• Experience with BMS/EPMS in data centers or critical facilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
• Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA practices.
• Experience wiring, testing, and commissioning low-voltage controls.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS/EPMS systems across data centers.
• Mentor Facilities team members on BMS/EPMS operation.
• Manage small-to-medium projects and coordinate tasks.
• Perform diagnostics and maintenance of control software and hardware.
• Read schematics and supervise low-voltage installation work.
