Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Controls Technician for Service & Construction of BMS and EPMS within AWS data centers. The role involves installing, testing, troubleshooting, and startup of control systems, with emphasis on field devices, sensors, and network configurations.

Qualifications

1+ years of professional work experience in computer systems or technology components.
Diploma or Associate degree in industrial instrumentation/controls or related field.
Minimum one year of experience with mission critical low/medium voltage electrical and/or mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Deploy, service, and upgrade BMS and EPMS in AWS data centers.
Mentor Facilities team on operation of BMS/EPMS.
Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers.
Configure sensors; read electrical schematics and control panel drawings.
Supervise low voltage electrical contractors on wiring and installation of field devices.
Participate in factory witnessed tests and commissioning.
