Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Data Center Controls Engineer to lead troubleshooting, project management, and system monitoring for BMS and EPMS in AWS data centers. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, high-performance electrical and environmental controls.

The role emphasizes ownership, on-call readiness, and collaboration with operations to maintain the data center infrastructure, including control logic programming and SOO improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Strong project management and data center operations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform Root Cause Analysis or Corrective Action for BMS and EPMS issues in AWS data centers.
• Train and assist internal customers and stakeholders with BMS/EPMS lifecycle activities.
• Provide technical assistance and support to operations during the data center life cycle.
• Review quarterly maintenance results and drive resolution actions for BMS/EPMS.
• Develop scope of work, schedule, LOE, and budgets for BMS/EPMS projects.
• Manage scope, schedule, finances and execution of BMS/EPMS improvement projects.
• Coordinate procurement activities and respond to vendor quotations/proposals.
