Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Controls Technician to maintain and optimize Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) across AWS data centers.

You will troubleshoot, program, and calibrate control systems, mentor the Facilities team, and ensure safe, reliable operation of critical infrastructure. You will work with field engineers, electricians, and vendor teams to manage small to medium projects, perform commissioning support, and

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical training in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
3+ years with low voltage controls, wiring, electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, relays and troubleshooting in data centers or similar environments.

Responsibilities

Work in data centers deploying, servicing, and upgrading BMS and EPMS systems.
Mentor Facilities team on operation and control of BMS and EPMS.
Perform point-to-point checkouts between field devices and controllers; diagnose and maintain BMS/EPMS code and hardware.
Install and calibrate sensors; read electrical schematics and control drawings.
Supervise low-voltage electrical contractors and follow safety protocols.
